  27. OK, first, you are correct -- add SCRAM 4 MB at a time, they're banked 
  28. that way.  I have NO idea where you're getting the idea that you will 
  29. only have 3 MB of fast RAM left, but if they're SCRAM Zips, there is NO 
  30. WAY.

  32. Is there already a bank of ZIP chips in place?  If so, that's 4 MB.  If 
  33. you have DIPs over there, then I do not believe you CAN have any ZIPs in 
  34. there.  I think it's not possible.  Whatever's in there in that case has 
  35. to come out.

  37. At any rate, buy all 8 MB from your friend, you'll need the complete set. 
  38. Especiually if your Zip sockets are populated with Dips.  (I think a 
  39. jumper has to be moved when shifting from Dip to Zip, too, but it's been 
  40. EONS since I did that on my machine!)
