- WHOA, buckaroo!

- OK, first, you are correct -- add SCRAM 4 MB at a time, they're banked
- that way. I have NO idea where you're getting the idea that you will
- only have 3 MB of fast RAM left, but if they're SCRAM Zips, there is NO
- WAY.
-
- Is there already a bank of ZIP chips in place? If so, that's 4 MB. If
- you have DIPs over there, then I do not believe you CAN have any ZIPs in
- there. I think it's not possible. Whatever's in there in that case has
- to come out.
-
- At any rate, buy all 8 MB from your friend, you'll need the complete set.
- Especiually if your Zip sockets are populated with Dips. (I think a
- jumper has to be moved when shifting from Dip to Zip, too, but it's been
- EONS since I did that on my machine!)
